Job Summary
Hardware Validation Engineer
NXP is seeking HW Validation Engineer for silicon validation both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of Automotive MCU products. You will be responsible for the functional validation and ensuring functionality performance stress and stability through comprehensive validation.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Validation planning Drive Develop and implement detailed validation test-plan and develop validation methodologies/infrastructure to achieve the coverage
- Test development Develop test-cases test environment and automation scripts using Python. Use various HW and SW tools such as oscilloscopes logic analyzers traffic generators and analyzers.
- Collaboration Work closely with design DV Analog and Firmware teams to debug root-cause and resolve any issues that may arise during validation
- Documentation and reporting Document test-plans test results validation coverage reports.
- Automation Develop various scripts web-based tools to automate validation tests as well as collecting reports and diagnostics data
Minimum Required Qualifications
- ./. Electronics/Computer Engineering
- 7 years of experience insilicon validation and performed roles in SOCsmixed signal/digital ICs.
- Hands on experience with debug of interfaces like communication peripherals memory interfaces and system level validation testing.
Expertise with pre-silicon platform C script-based test automation (Python) and strong scripting skills in general.
