Job Summary

We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering manage stakeholders and deliver solutions within a credit risk and commodity trading environment. The right candidate will have strong domain knowledge of credit risk concepts solid business analysis capabilities and the skill to connect business and IT teams using both Agile and Waterfall approaches.

Responsibilities
  • Identify business problems value drivers and functional/non-functional requirements then convert them into working functionality
  • Evaluate risks feasibility opportunities and the business impact of proposed solutions
  • Map out processes data flows and technology to determine current value spot issues and suggest improvements
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of requirements that stays aligned with the solution throughout the project ensuring traceability from business needs to testing and final delivery
  • Collaborate with software suppliers designers and developers to understand software constraints while ensuring business requirements and use cases are met
  • Set up and document software and processes according to agreed standards and tools
  • Establish acceptance criteria and confirm that solutions meet business needs through coordinated testing and UAT support
  • Deliver strong business cases that justify solution value and win approval funding and prioritization
  • Take charge of stakeholder management large design sessions and workshops
  • Guide teams through business analysis activities across projects
  • Train stakeholders including Product Owners and business partners on Agile ways of working
  • Manage competing priorities while serving as the link between business and IT teams
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of IT experience overall holding a Bachelors or Masters degree in IT Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Strong grasp of Credit Risk functions Commodity Derivatives (both physical and financial) price curves and credit risk concepts including LGD ECL PD and PFE
  • Familiarity with Credit Risk Reporting covering exposure credit review limit reporting and controls reporting
  • Proven track record in requirements management process and data analysis and stakeholder engagement including leading workshops and driving solution alignment
  • Skilled in Excel SQL Power BI/Tableau JIRA and Confluence
  • Hands-on experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of turning business needs into clear user stories and specifications
  • An analytical thinker who can work independently as a self-starter
  • Working knowledge of ETRM systems such as Endur and Aligne
Nice to have
  • Capabilities in Business Process Modeling Change Management and UI/UX Design Thinking
  • Strong background in Data Visualization Analytics and Modeling
  • Exposure to Generative AI Use Cases and storytelling methods
  • Knowledge of the trading lifecycle from pre-deal through settlement
  • Awareness of commodity markets and regulatory compliance requirements

Required Experience:

Staff IC
