Junior Utility Design Engineer

• Development of conceptual and detailed design of dry utility systems in accordance with standards.
• Develop designs including alignments profiles sections and trench design in coordination.
• Knowledge of subsurface utility engineering principles
• Prepare engineering drawings 2D and 3D designs of utilities and volumetric analysis
• Contribute to quality assurance/quality control processes.
• Develop 3D design models for conflict analysis and resolution in Civil3D.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering.
• 2 years of experience in municipal and/or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Ability to design dry utility systems
• Experience with underground infrastructure design (water sanitary storm drainage) will be an asset.
• Working knowledge of CAD platforms (Civil 3D & AutoCAD) will be an asset.
• Working knowledge of BIM process development of design and review process over Autodesk construction cloud (ACC) will be an asset.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
• Ability to learn on the job and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
