Job Description Junior Hydrographic Surveyor
Experience: Minimum 3 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Hydrographic Surveyor with at least 3 years of experience in hydrographic and bathymetric surveys. The candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys operating hydrographic survey equipment collecting and processing survey data and supporting marine coastal and inland water projects.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct hydrographic and bathymetric surveys.
Operate equipment such as MBES SBES DGPS/GNSS Side Scan Sonar and Tide Gauges.
Collect process and validate hydrographic survey data.
Prepare survey reports charts and technical documentation.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of survey instruments.
Follow project specifications quality standards and HSE guidelines.
Required Skills
Minimum 3 years of hydrographic surveying experience.
Hands-on experience with hydrographic survey equipment and data processing software (HYPACK QINSy CARIS or similar).
Good understanding of marine survey procedures and coordinate systems.
Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Survey Engineering Geomatics Civil Engineering Marine Engineering Geography or a related field.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of DR technologies backup solutions cloud DR and recovery procedures. Experience in conducting DR testing documentation and reporting.
