This position is responsible for the design development operation and maintenance of IT computer systems and JD Edwards ERP HR software applications. The engineer applies technical knowledge to define strategic direction within the discipline and to solve complex business problems through a systematic disciplined approach using software hardware and communication technologies.
Key environment: JDE application version 8.12 on a DB2 database running on an IBM i (AS/400) system. The candidate must be able to query the DB2 database on the AS/400 to research and resolve issues.
Discipline-specific duties:
Apply engineering principles to the design development and testing of JD Edwards Human Capital Management.
Build solutions using JDE technologies such as RDA FDA TDA NER BSFN OMW ER Compare Visual Studio and data dictionary tools.
Design support configure and maintain JDE application settings processing options data structures data dictionary user overrides data sources and application database middleware.
