Your future duties and responsibilities
Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a talented and motivated Java Full Stack with strong expertise in Agentic AI to build and manage scalable efficient and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure. Youll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights working closely with data scientists analysts and business teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Java Full stack with AI/ML (Java or Python)Qualifications/Required Skills
8-15 years of experience in software engineering with deep exposure to AI/ML systems in production environments.
Proven experience building RAG based systems AI agents LLM-driven systems or autonomous workflowsnot just consuming AI APIs.
Proven experience in using Agentic AI frameworks like Langchain Langgraph MS Agentic AI Framework Crew AI Google ADK (expertise in atleast one)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Strong Backend experience with Java 21 J2EE Spring Spring Boot REST/SOAP web services Micronaut
Strong programming expertise in Python (required) or Frontend: Angular (enterprise UI micro- frontends) HTML5 CSS3 TypeScript
Data: Oracle SQL SQL Server MongoDB Vector DBs
Working experience with Generative and Agentic AI solutions RAG GraphRAG etc.
Exposure/Experience with Agentic AI frameworks like Langgraph MS Agentic Framework Crew AI Google ADK
Cloud MS Azure/ AWS
DevOps/ CI-CD: Git Maven Jenkins Tomcat/ TC Server (at least one)
Experience working with distributed systems telemetry data and observability architectures.
Strong understanding of AI-assisted development tooling and productivity optimization.
Experience designing multi-step reasoning workflows and autonomous decision agents.
A systems-thinking mindset that connects AI models data pipelines and operational workflows end-to-end.
Experience building agentic systems or exposure for observability automated remediation or intelligent diagnostics (ideal background from AI-native or data observability or product organizations).

Strong programming expertise in Python (required) and at least one of Java or React
Experience building with OCR & Text Extraction technologies.
Experience building document management or enterprise content management
Experience building agentic systems for observability automated remediation or intelligent diagnostics (ideal background from AI-native or data observability or product organizations).
Knowledge of OpenTelemetry LiteLLM ARIZE distributed tracing systems or similar observability stacks.
Experience working with distributed systems telemetry data and observability architectures.
Foundational AI skills including prompt engineering model evaluation agent orchestration reasoning frameworks and the ability to apply AI to improve engineering and operational outcomes.
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production workflows with proper guardrails and evaluation mechanisms.
Strong understanding of AI-assisted development tooling and productivity optimization.
Experience designing multi-step reasoning workflows and autonomous decision agents.
A systems-thinking mindset that connects AI models data pipelines and operational workflows end-to-end.

Desired Skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior engineers and product leaders.
Designing evaluation frameworks (offline online)
Experience with hallucination mitigation guardrails fallback strategies
Observability for AI systems (prompt model agent telemetry)
Experience building evaluation harnesses for LLM/agent systems (accuracy latency cost safety)
Knowledge of OpenAI embedding models; Cohere Voyage AI etc
Strond Backend experience with Java 21 J2EE Spring Spring Boot REST/SOAP web services Micronaut
Knowledge of OpenTelemetry LiteLLM ARIZE distributed tracing systems or similar observability stacks.
