Java Full Stack Developer – Spring, REST APIs & SQL

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Java Full Stack (Java FS) professional with 5 years of experience in Java software development. The role will develop maintain and enhance Java-based applications and systems while contributing to full-stack web application position will support business objectives by delivering clean maintainable scalable and reliable software; collaborating with cross-functional teams; resolving technical issues; and applying current Java web development database and Agile engineering practices.

Software Requirements

Required

• Strong knowledge of Java and the Java EE platform.

• Experience using Java 8 or later and current supported Java versions based on project requirements.

• Experience with web development frameworks such as Spring Hibernate or JSF.

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

• Experience with Git or equivalent version control systems.

• Understanding of RESTful web services and API integration.

• Experience with software development lifecycle practices including design development testing deployment maintenance and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java software development including relevant experience with Java web technologies.

• Certifications in Java cloud computing Agile software architecture or related technologies are preferred but are not mandatory unless required for a project.

• Complete Synechron-required training related to information security data protection software development standards and responsible technology use.

• Maintain continuous professional development in Java Java EE full-stack development cloud technologies databases security testing and Agile delivery.
