Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Software Engineer with strong Java engineering skills hands-on cloud experience and practical knowledge of AI-assisted development using Claude. The role will contribute to the development and delivery of software solutions using Java Spring Boot RESTful APIs AWS services relational databases CI/CD pipelines infrastructure-as-code and cloud security best practices. The position supports business objectives by contributing to reliable maintainable secure and scalable applications while applying effective engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Develop enhance and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot.

• Design implement and maintain RESTful APIs.

• Work with PostgreSQL and relational databases to support application functionality.

• Deploy configure and support applications using AWS EKS/Kubernetes Lambda and RDS.

• Apply IAM and KMS controls in accordance with cloud security best practices.

• Create maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code configurations.

• Use Claude in practical AI-assisted development activities.

• Write review and maintain production-quality code.

• Participate in testing debugging code reviews and technical design discussions.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field may be beneficial.

• Equivalent professional experience demonstrating the required technical skills and software engineering experience will be considered.

Certifications

• Relevant certifications may be considered where they support the required Java AWS Kubernetes cloud security or software engineering experience.
