Job Title: ITSM Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).

Role Overview
The ITSM Strategic Portfolio Management professional is responsible for aligning IT initiatives with business strategy by managing demand investment portfolios and resources. The role ensures optimal value delivery governance and visibility across projects products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and govern the IT portfolio (projects programs products and services) to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Drive demand management including intake prioritization and approval of initiatives
• Oversee financial planning and budgeting including cost tracking forecasting and ROI analysis
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into executable IT initiatives
• Monitor portfolio performance using KPIs dashboards and reports
• Support capacity and resource management across teams
• Ensure adherence to ITSM governance and compliance standards
• Facilitate portfolio review meetings and executive-level reporting
• Continuously improve portfolio management processes and tools

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks (ITIL preferred)
• Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) concepts and practices
• Hands-on experience with SPM tools (e.g. ServiceNow SPM Clarity Jira Align Planview)
• Strong analytical financial and reporting skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in information technology Business or related field
• ITIL certification (preferred)
• SPM / PMP / Safe or related certifications (nice to have)
• 5 years of experience in ITSM portfolio management or IT governance roles
