Key job responsibilities
- Provide technical support through multiple channels including ticket systems in-person assistance and remote sessions for Amazons multi-site user base across various computing environments
- Manage hardware and software lifecycle processes including new employee onboarding device imaging asset tracking warranty support and equipment recycling
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity hardware software and peripheral issues while documenting solutions for future reference
- Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely resolution of technical requests and maintain agreed-upon service levels
- Research evaluate and deploy new hardware and software solutions to enhance our technical infrastructure and user experience
A day in the life
Your role centers on delivering comprehensive technical support to Amazon employees across multiple locations and devices. Youll handle a mix of ticket-based requests walk-up support and remote troubleshooting for Windows Mac and Linux environments. Throughout your day you might assist a new hire with device setup troubleshoot network connectivity issues coordinate with external service providers on hardware repairs or research and evaluate new software solutions for team deployment. Youll collaborate with colleagues across IT Operations to maintain system reliability and take on rotating on-call responsibilities for production support. Your work directly impacts employee productivity and satisfaction making you an essential part of our internal operations.

- 3 years of corporate setting Windows Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
- Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers troubleshooting thin clients PCs scanners and portable handheld terminals
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines or experience in senior level leadership support
- CompTIA A CompTIA Network Cisco/CCNA Linux (Redhat) Microsoft hardware (installation) AWS or other industry relevant certifications
- Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
