Intern – System Diagnostic Tools

Role & Responsibilities:

• Support the development of system diagnostic tools for a mobile X-ray system.

• Contribute to the design of troubleshooting workflows for field engineers.

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand system behavior fault conditions logs and service needs.

• Support prototype development testing and validation of diagnostic tool concepts.

• Assist in analyzing issues across software hardware and firmware interfaces.

• Help document diagnostic logic troubleshooting steps and technical findings.

• Participate in technical discussions reviews and implementation clarifications.

Qualifications/Requirements

• or in Computer Science Engineering Electronics Embedded Systems or a related technical discipline .

• 70% or 7 CGPA aggregate in the current degree.

• No active backlogs at the time of application.

• Willing to work in GE HealthCare premises during the internship.

• Willing to work on any projects as assigned based on fitment and business need.

• Strong interest in diagnostic tools troubleshooting product development and engineering problem-solving.

• Academic or project experience in software development embedded systems testing debugging or technical troubleshooting is preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of software development scripting or automation tools.

• Basic understanding of electronics embedded systems and firmware concepts.

• Familiarity with testing debugging and troubleshooting concepts.

• Exposure to hardware-software interaction and firmware behavior is desirable.

• Ability to support troubleshooting involving hardware electrical or firmware-related issues.

• Basic knowledge of lab tools service interfaces or test setups is an advantage.
