Job Responsibilities:
The role of the ISOL Intern is distinctive in that it involves rotating through different teams within Magna ITs (MIT) ISOL sub tower. The incumbent will have the opportunity to be part of various teams including various SAP teams Data Interchange & Development (EDI) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) teams.
Major Responsibilities
Administering support and maintenance of business applications which are operated by teams within ISOL sub towers
Engage in activities for 1st and 2nd level user support
Analysis of malfunctions and troubleshooting
Interface to 3rd level support for issue and problem management
Manage ticket queue and prioritize work based on impact analysis
Administration of master data
Documentation: Prepare technical documentation keep all internal documentation systems up to date
Application and user management
Support for application testing
Challenges:
Complexity of multiple in-house applications.
Understanding the working of MIT customers as each group may operate differently because of different product lines
Knowledge and Education
Pursuing a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field of study from a recognized IT program.
Work Experience
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills and Competencies
Basic understanding of ERP tools SAP will be an added advantage.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office product family. Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Visio
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills familiar with incident support and application development lifecycle.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with quick comprehension.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Flexible and willing to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized detail-oriented and able to prioritize work.
Ability to multitask work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
Passion for technology affinity for IT and good technical understanding.
Proficiency in German Mandarin or Spanish is an asset.
