Responsibilities:

Looking for strong DB Reliability Engineering candidate (3-6 yrs band)

Must have strong skillset on MySQL DBA Linux OS Automation tools (Chef/Ansible/Shell scripting)

Hands onexperience on HA tools like Tungsten/Keepalived

Knowledge and experience in AWS SRE and ConfigMgmtare addedadvantage

Experienced withMySQLEnterprise Versions Products and should have performedMySQLUpgrades & applied patched

Hands-on experience on migration fromMySQLto Maria and vice-versa.

Configuring & troubleshooting ofMySQLEnterprise Monitor (MEM) Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM)

Strong hold onMySQLEnterprise backups & logical backups (mysqldump/mysqlpump)

InnoDBCluster & Master-Slave replication configurations & troubleshootingMySQLEnterprise Audit Encryption & keyring

Open sourceHA tools likekeepalived/tungstun

Collaborate with team to develop high-performance database functionalities; should be able to resolveMySQLPerformance Issues

Extensive exposure to public cloud (AWS/Azure) to provide solutions and troubleshoot issues

Goodcommunicationskill

Ability towork independently without handholding

Open to learn new skills and have a good attitude.

Secondary Skills:

Knowledge of NoSQL DB (Mongo)will be an added advantage

Good understanding of data management (e.g. permissions recovery security and monitoring)

Ensure all database programs meet organization & performance requirements

User management space management &shell scripting

Close coordination & planning with Client & Project sub-teams

Good communication skills to work with foreign clients
