Job Description & Summary:Storage Engineer / Cloud Storage Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design implement andmaintainglobal File (NAS) and Object Storage (S3) Infrastructure.
Manage lifecycle of NAS hardware/software includingPowerScaleand PureFlashBladeplatforms and S3 Object storage hardware/software including IBM COS &MinIO.
Support Adobes growing multi-petabyte storage services in private and public cloud locations.
Develop automation scripts and tools for provisioning monitoring and reporting.
Support and execute on capacity planning performance tuning and vendor engagement.
Support a 24x7 distributed enterprise environment.
Participatein a follow-the-sun on-call rotation responding to alerts and issues from other team members.
Mandatory skill sets:
B.E./in Computer Science or other equivalent degree.
5 years of professional cloud engineering experience with in Public and Hybrid cloud technologies with a focus on file and object storage.
Hands-onexpertisewith enterprise storage platforms: DellPowerScale PureFlashBladeStorage Hitachi NAS IBM COS AWS S3.
Experience working with high-availability distributed systems and services in a hosting environment including hardware OS storage network and database solutions.
Experience with programming scripting and automation tools including Python Git Jenkins REST APIs etc.
Experience with observability tools: Prometheus Grafana.
Familiarity with ITSM tools and CMDB e.g. ServiceNow.
Strong problem-solving communication and documentation skills.
Preferred skill sets:
