Responsibilities:

Strong expertise with GCP services like BigQuery Dataflow Dataproc Cloud Storage Cloud Pub/Sub Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow) Dataform GCS and cloud functions.

Implement data governance with Dataplex security and logging best practices to ensure compliance and data privacy.
Experience with data modeling data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.

Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes on BigQuery Cloud Storage and other GCP storage solutions.

Implement data integration ingestion and transformation workflows to support analytics and machine learning initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver end-to-end data solutions.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Pyspark and SQL.

Mandatory skill sets:

GCP Data Services: BigQuery Dataflow Pub/Sub Dataproc Dataplex Cloud Storage Data Catalog Cloud Composer
Data Engineering & Data Architecture
Data Governance Frameworks: lineage metadata management data quality security controls
Data Mesh architecture and domain-driven design
ETL/ELT development (DBT) and databases like Snowflake
Programming: SQL Python and/or Java
Orchestration: Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform / Deployment Manager
DevOps & CI/CD practices for data workflows

Preferred skill sets:
