Job Summary
Roles & Responsibilities :
Lead system engineering activities for Active Safety and Brake System products.
Analyze customer specific requirements and generate system requirements functional
specifications and review with global experts and implement and validate the same along
with Technical project manager
Working on Regenerative Braking Foundation Brakes and emerging brake-by-wire
technologies.
Perform brake system assessment and sizing to ensure customer performance targets
vehicle dynamics and regulatory requirements are achieved.
Develop and manage system requirements using IBM DOORS while ensuring complete
traceability throughout the product development lifecycle.
Design integrate and validate brake system functions through vehicle testing simulation
and standard measurement & verification tools.
Collaborate with Software Hardware Platform and Application teams to define customer specific
solutions and support successful product development.
Support innovation activities by developing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) New features Demo
to customers and future brake system concepts for next-generation mobility solutions.
Ensure compliance with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) ASPICE V-Model development
processes and global brake regulations (FMVSS/ECE).
Serve as the technical interface for customers and driving technical discussions resolving
system queries and providing system-level guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Work closely with global engineering teams across multiple development centers to deliver
high-quality system solutions for global and Indian OEM programs.
Qualifications :
* Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical Automotive Electronics Mechatronics
Computer or a related engineering discipline.
Experience in Brake Systems Chassis Control Active Safety or Vehicle Dynamics.
Knowledge of Foundation Brakes ABS ESC Hydraulic Braking Systems Vehicle
Architecture and CAN/LIN communication.
* Experience with IBM DOORS MATLAB/Simulink and system validation (MiL/SiL/Vehicle
Testing).
Familiarity with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) ASPICE Agile and V-Model development.
Strong analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.
