These individuals analyse client needs implement software solutions and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients analysing their needs implementing software solutions and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.
Job Description & Summary: PwC India is looking for experienced SAP Basis professionals to join its growing SAP practice across India. The candidate will be responsible for managing SAP landscapes system administration installations upgrades monitoring performance tuning and ensuring high availability of SAP systems.
Responsibilities:
Perform SAP Basis administration activities across SAP environments.
Install configure monitor and maintain SAP systems including ECC S/4HANA BW PI/PO Solution Manager and SAP HANA databases.
Execute SAP kernel upgrades support packs system refreshes client copies and patch management.
Manage transport management system (TMS) andtroubleshoottransport-related issues.
Monitor system performance and optimize SAP application and database performance.
Handle user administration role assignments and security-related Basis activities.
Support SAP system migrations upgrades and cloud transformation initiatives.
Ensure backup recovery and disaster recovery procedures are implemented effectively.
Work closely with functional development infrastructure and client teams.
Provide production support and resolve critical incidents within SLA timelines.
Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills
Strong experience in SAP Basis administration and support.
Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration.
Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture and SAP landscape management.
Experience in SAP system installation upgrades migrations and patching.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP is an added advantage.
Good troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science IT or related field.
SAP Basis/HANA certification preferred.
Experience working in consulting or large enterprise environments is desirable.
Additional Information
Willingness to travel and work from client locations across India.
Flexibleto workin shifts/support projects when required.
Strong team collaboration and client-facing skills preferred.
Notice Period
Immediate to 60 days preferred.
