Import Export Manager oversees the international movement of goods ensuring compliance with customs regulations managing logistics and optimizing supply chain efficiency. Key responsibilities include preparing documentation negotiating with freight forwarders managing budgets and staying updated on trade laws to minimize risks and Responsibilities and DutiesLogistics & Compliance: Manage the end-to-end import/export process including customs clearance documentation (bills of lading invoices) and compliance with international trade & Logistics Relations: Develop networks with suppliers freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective Mitigation & Reporting: Monitor shipment insurance handle disputes and maintain compliance records to prevent & Optimization: Develop and implement policies to optimize supply chain efficiency reduce duties and taxes and improve logistics Leadership: Supervise train and manage staff involved in shipping receiving and Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related : Generally 5 years of experience in import/export operations or supply chain : Strong knowledge of international trade regulations customs procedures and : Strong analytical negotiation problem-solving and communication skills. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.
