IBM MQ Infrastructure Administrator (Lead – Webservices MQ)

We are hiring an experienced IBM MQ Infrastructure Administrator (Lead Webservices MQ) to manage and enhance enterprise messaging platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability performance security and lifecycle management of IBM MQ systems across hybrid environments.

You will play a critical role in L3 support incident management system upgrades and architecture-level decision-making while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Own L3 administration of IBM MQ infrastructure (Queue Managers channels listeners MQ objects)
  
• Ensure system reliability via monitoring performance tuning and capacity planning
  
• Lead incident & problem management including RCA and preventive actions
  
• Execute upgrades patching and migrations with minimal downtime
  
• Implement security controls (TLS/mTLS CHLAUTH OAM certificates)
  
• Manage high availability and disaster recovery setups
  
• Support integration with APIs webservices and enterprise applications
  
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and configuration tools
  
• Define and maintain standards governance and compliance
  
• Mentor L1/L2 teams and guide junior administrators
  
• Participate in on-call and production support
  

• Strong hands-on experience in IBM MQ Administration
  
• Expertise in:
  • Queue Managers MQSC scripting object management
    
  • MQ Clustering & HA/DR setups
    
  • Performance tuning & capacity planning
    
  • Security (SSL/TLS CHLAUTH CONNAUTH OAM)
    
• Experience with Linux/Unix and/or Windows environments
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills (logs FDCs connectivity issues)
