Job Role/Job Description

What roles and responsibilities will be performed by the selected candidate

• Design build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other Azure services.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction transformation and loading (ETL).

• Implement data integration solutions across multiple sources and ensure data quality and consistency.

• Analyze and understand business logic embedded in stored procedures and assist in rewriting or optimizing them for better performance and maintainability.

• Design and implement robust data models (star/snowflake schemas) optimizing relationships cardinality and performance.

• Develop advanced and high-performance DAX measures (time intelligence complex calculations optimization techniques).

• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access to ensure secure governed data consumption.

• Build scalable interactive Power BI reports and dashboards following best practices for usability and performance.

• Configure report scheduling refresh and delivery using Power BI Service gateways subscriptions and alerts.

What is the expectation from the candidates current role/profile

• Solid experience in data engineering or related roles.

• Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries stored procs performance tuning).

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Services (e.g. Azure Data Lake Azure Synapse Azure SQL Database).

• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

• Intermediate to Advance level Power BI Skillset

• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data pipelines.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
