• Develop and implement test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing objectives scope and deliverables.
• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies considering various testing levels (unit integration system regression etc.).
• Create detailed comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the functionality usability and performance of software applications.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues that may not be covered by existing test cases.
• Lead and contribute to the development of automated test scripts.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Identify opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Identify document and track defects through their lifecycle.
• Work closely with development teams to investigate troubleshoot and resolve reported issues.
• Provide detailed defect reports and status updates to project stakeholders.
• Design and execute performance tests to assess the scalability and responsiveness of applications.
• Analyze performance test results and collaborate with development teams to address performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and quality assurance teams.
• Clearly communicate testing progress results and challenges to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related aspects.

Job role/profile:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer with a focus on manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and best practices.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium JUnit TestNG or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages for automation (e.g. Java Python).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good to have SQL and database testing experience.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB Agile Tester) and automation frameworks/tools are a plus.
