HVDC Proposal Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop HVDC proposals for APAC region; may negotiate with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory product lines markets sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Build and manage tender schedule lead tender reviews monitor and report on tender progress. Identify and report any issue or deviation to bidding strategy in a clear and anticipated manner. Propose mitigation actions based on experience and implement corrective actions.
• Build up the cost estimate ensure all costs are properly validated and adequate risks provisions are considered for projects. Establish a realistic target cost at early stage of the tender
• Ensure adherence to tendering procedures and tools all relevant tender approvals and gates should be obtained and recorded in a timely manner. Also ensure that all comments received during
  the Tender Approvals are recorded and addressed before submitting the proposal.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or proven experience of equivalent level.
• At least 9 years of experience in successful management of complex tenders (or project) of medium to large scale including sound understanding of commercial management and contract terms.
