Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized HR and Recruitment Associate to join our team. This entry-level role is perfect for a recent graduate or a junior professional with up to 2 years of experience who is eager to build a career in Human Resources. You will provide essential day-to-day administrative support to the HR department assist with sourcing and scheduling in the recruitment process and help ensure a positive experience for both candidates and current employees.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support
Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements on various job boards social media platforms and university career portals.
Support the recruitment team by screening initial resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
Handle end-to-end Recruitment activities. Coordinate and schedule phone video and in-person interviews between candidates and
hiring managers. Ensure a positive candidate experience by communicating promptly providing interview
details and answering basic questions. Help maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by updating candidate statuses and
ensuring data accuracy. Assist with background checks reference verifications and preparing offer letters. Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire kits setting up employee profiles
and guiding new hires through their first day.
Human Resources Operations
Act as the first point of contact for basic employee inquiries escalating more complex issues to senior HR staff.
Assist with HR administrative tasks including data entry filing and maintaining confidential employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
Support the administration of employee benefits tracking attendance and processing leave requests.
Help organize company events employee engagement initiatives and team-building
activities. Assist in compiling HR reports and maintaining compliance documentation as directed
by the HR Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
Any Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field.
0 to 2 years of experience in an HR administrative or recruitment support role (relevant internships are highly valued).
Basic understanding of Human Resources principles recruitment practices and local employment laws.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. Familiarity with or willingness to learn HR software such as Applicant Tracking
Systems (ATS) and HRIS databases.
