Housekeeping Lecturer

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Lecturer to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of housekeeping operations hospitality standards and practical industry experience in reputed hotels. The role involves delivering engaging lectures conducting practical training sessions and preparing students for successful careers in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical training sessions on Housekeeping and related hospitality subjects.
  
• Train students in housekeeping operations room maintenance cleaning procedures hygiene standards and guest service practices.
  
• Prepare lesson plans presentations assignments and study materials.
  
• Conduct demonstrations workshops classroom activities and practical sessions.
  
• Evaluate student performance through examinations assignments projects and practical assessments.
  
• Guide and mentor students for internships placements and career development.
  
• Maintain academic standards and discipline within the classroom and practical labs.
  
• Participate in curriculum development academic planning and institutional activities.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into teaching.
  

• Masters Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a reputed 5-star hotel preferably in the Housekeeping department.
  
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations hospitality standards and guest service.
  
• Excellent communication presentation and teaching skills.
  
• Ability to combine practical industry experience with academic instruction effectively.
  
• Teaching training or mentoring experience will be an added advantage.
