Due to our continuing expansion we currently have an opportunity for a HighwaysEngineer on multi-disciplinary offshore executed projects from Bangalore India.

Working in a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers providing a professional design service to our clients this is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their international experience with a world-renowned consultant.

You will be an Engineer within the Highways team carrying out the design and checking of a range of elements associated with highway projects. You will be responsible for:

Project based supervision of designers and drafting staff

Maintaining technical quality standards and mentoring junior designers

Delivering projects to time and budget

Liaising with Canada based customers in a responsive and client focused manner

The successful candidate will need to

Be highly self-motivated and ambitious

Have a track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the highways and bridges industry

Be able to work with minimal supervision

Have the ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers

Be able to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients

Have the experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment

The position is to be based in Bangalore

Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed College

Have relevant experience in the region of around 3 to 10 years inconsultancy business working on highways and related features in Canada Region.

Knowledge and Experience of applying TAC standards in Roads Design.

Experienced user of Open Roads Design Civil 3D AutoCAD MicroStation

Experience implementing quality standards and procedures

A very good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Evidence of having successfully delivered highway projects

Holdsa Masters Degree in a relevant discipline

Expert in the use of Open Road design software and AutoCAD/MicroStation for Highway schemes

Experience of the design of grade separated junctions

Experience of the design of pipe drainage networks

Working knowledge ofCanada highway design standards
