Job Purpose

The Head – Logistics will be responsible for leading end-to-end import export and domestic logistics operations while driving stakeholder management cost optimization compliance and process improvements across the supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall logistics operations including import export and domestic transportation

• Handle stakeholder management across Finance Sales Purchase and Customer Service teams

• Ensure compliance for import/export and domestic logistics operations

• Lead overseas logistics activities and shipment planning

• Monitor and reduce logistics costs including detention demurrage and freight costs

• Negotiate freight rates with shipping lines CFS transporters and logistics vendors

• Coordinate with CHA shipping lines factories and customs authorities for smooth clearance operations

• Manage logistics planning for multiple plant locations

• Ensure timely shipment tracking and on-time delivery

• Lead audit closure process automation and operational improvement initiatives

• Supervise and mentor logistics and import-export teams

• Strong experience in logistics freight CHA or supply chain operations

• Proven experience in team handling and stakeholder management

• Expertise in import/export operations and freight negotiations

• Ability to drive cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiency

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial setup preferred
