Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all academic research and administrative functions across the institutes multiple schools and departments.
- Formulate and implement the longterm vision mission and growth strategy in alignment with the institutes objectives and industry trends.
- Oversee curriculum development accreditation processes and quality assurance to maintain high academic standards.
- Lead fundraising initiatives forge partnerships with industry government agencies and international institutions and secure research grants.
- Drive innovation in teaching methodologies digital learning platforms and collaborative research projects.
- Manage senior leadership teams set performance targets conduct regular reviews and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies statutory requirements and internal governance policies.
- Represent the institute at national and global forums conferences and stakeholder meetings.
- Promote community outreach social responsibility programs and alumni engagement activities.
Essential Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering Management Sciences or Humanities).
- Demonstrated experience in senior academic leadership roles (e.g. Dean ViceChancellor Director) at a recognized university or institute.
- Strong understanding of higher education governance accreditation standards and regulatory frameworks in India.
- Proven track record of strategic planning financial stewardship and resource optimization.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Visionary mindset with the ability to inspire faculty staff and students.
- High level of integrity ethical standards and commitment to academic excellence.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 10 to 15years of progressive experience in higher education with at least 8 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Experience in managing multicampus operations or large academic units.
- Successful track record of securing research funding and establishing industry collaborations.
- Published research in reputable journals and participation in professional bodies.
- Demonstrated experience in change management curriculum innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
