Graduate Trainee Vulnerability Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Create and assign vulnerability remediation tickets based on scanner output and ownership rules.

• Document ticket status exceptions compensating controls and remediation notes.

• Track SLA aging and assist with recurring reporting.

• Maintain diagrams of internal scanning architecture and external ASM coverage.

• Help map scanners credentialed vs. uncredentialed coverage and asset groups to business owners.

Tasks:

• Assist with re-validation and closure evidence.

• Normalize scanner output for reporting.

• Support attack surface inventory hygiene and unknown-asset follow-up.

Qualifications :

• Education: Recent graduate with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Systems or a related discipline.

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of vulnerability management lifecycles scanning tools threat concepts and IT asset management.

• Process & Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a methodical approach to tracking data managing ticket queues and following up on remediation workflows.
