Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Go-based microservices that support financial transactions and business workflows.

• Build and enhance event-driven applications using Kafka and other messaging technologies.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design develop test and deploy scalable backend services.

• Support the development and maintenance of real-time data pipelines and integrations.

• Work closely with Product Engineering Finance and Operations teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Contribute to database development data modelling and query optimization using Oracle and Snowflake.

• Participate in cloud-based application deployment and infrastructure automation using AWS and Terraform.

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Troubleshoot production issues identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

• Follow engineering best practices coding standards and security guidelines to ensure reliable and maintainable software.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in software development preferably in backend or distributed systems development.

• Hands-on experience with Go (Golang) and understanding of microservices architecture.

• Basic to intermediate experience working with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.

• Build and enhance event-driven applications using Kafka and other messaging technologies.

• Good understanding of REST APIs backend service development and software design principles.

• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases such as Oracle.

• Exposure to Snowflake or other modern data platforms is preferred.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure concepts.

• Working knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.

• Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to financial systems payment processing or transaction-based applications.

• Understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed systems concepts.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Interest in AI/ML technologies and automation solutions is a plus.

Education Qualification:

• B.S./B.A. in Computer Science Information Systems Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience preferred

• Technical certifications preferred (AWS Linux Windows Atlassian etc)
