Job Summary

  • Coordinate and manage commercial framework agreement and contract pricing enquiries and providing timely and effective support to stakeholders.
  • Administer and maintain pricing within John Crane Pricing systems ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established pricing policies.
  • Prepare publish and distribute commercial framework partner and customer price books.
  • Support pricing-related projects and initiatives including pricing system and process rollouts sales and product analysis contract systemisation and process improvements.
  • Partner with Product Portfolio teams to ensure competitive and accurate pricing is maintained within John Crane pricing systems.
  • Act as a key liaison between Sales Product Management Finance Customer Service and other functions on pricing and contract-related matters.
  • Provide pricing and analytical support to Product Managers to aid decision-making and commercial strategy.
  • Assist with data analysis reporting and governance activities to support pricing performance and business objectives.
  • Undertake additional pricing commercial and project-based activities as required to support regional and global business priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience within B2B manufacturing or engineering.
  • Exposure to Engineered To Order (ETO) configured products or quotation-based commercial processes.
  • Exposure to pricing or revenue management.
  • Experience using SAP Pricefx or another ERP/pricing platform.
  • Python SQL or other data analysis/programming experience.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a numerate/business discipline

EHS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Additional duties and responsibilities will vary based upon departmental needs.
  • Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the Companys goals.
  • Lifting guidelines in accordance with the Manual Lifting Guidelines noted in the Safety Handbook.
  • Follow all environmental requirements consistently with supporting the companys environmental performance goals.
  • Complete and actively participate in all other EHS training requirements.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; a minimum of 2 hours.
  • Must be able to manoeuvre to all areas of the office shop warehouse or manufacturing plant.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend reach kneel twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
  • Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment.
  • Must be able to simultaneously manage several objectives changing priorities and reassign priorities to completing assignments.
  • Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

Qualifications :

  • 2-3 years of experience in Pricing Commercial Analytics Finance Business Intelligence Sales Operations or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into clear business recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar reporting and data visualisation tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work across Sales Product Management Finance Customer Service and other business functions.
  • Strong organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Bachelors degree in relevant discipline and a willingness to learn and develop expertise in business systems such as SAP Pricefx C4C and other commercial platforms.
