Global Benefits Specialist

The opportunity

Join our Wellbeing Benefits and Employee Experience organization where we aim to build a culture of Benefits Specialist focuses on benefits administration for employees across assigned countries and regions ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with Unitys global benefits strategy. This role provides operational support and local expertise to ensure seamless program delivery. The scope of countries covered may evolve over time in line with business needs and the successful candidate will be expected to adapt flexibly to changing regional responsibilities as well as working hours. A key part of this role involves triaging and responding to employee benefits inquiries submitted through our Jira ticketing system; the specialist will leverage AI to help research and address questions spanning multiple countries and regions

What youll be doing

• Administer benefits programs across assigned countries including health and welfare plans retirement programs and time-off policies.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees on benefits-related questions providing timely and accurate guidance.

• Partner with Payroll Compliance Legal and external vendors to ensure accurate benefits administration payments and regulatory compliance.

• Conduct audits and quality checks to maintain data integrity and compliance across benefits systems.

• Support annual benefits enrollment including employee communications vendor coordination enrollment activities and ongoing documentation.

• Monitor changes in benefits regulations identify opportunities to streamline processes and collaborate with the global Benefits team to enhance the employee experience.

What were looking for

• 3 years of experience in benefits administration HR operations or a related field with a Bachelors degree in HR Business or a related discipline or equivalent experience.

• Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and statutory requirements across India and at least three additional countries.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple processes and priorities simultaneously.

• Experience partnering with Payroll Legal and external vendors to ensure accurate administration and compliance.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with advanced spreadsheet proficiency and experience using AI tools such as Gemini.

• Adaptable and collaborative with an interest in developing deeper expertise in international benefits and the flexibility to work across time zones.

Additional information

• HR qualified or equivalent credentials.

• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday) and benefits administration platforms.

• Familiarity with trends in employee wellbeing and engagement.

• Experience and knowledge of Benefits across an entire region (e.g. EMEA APAC North America)

• Base Salary Range:INR gross

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors including geographic location and the candidates relevant experience professional background and skill set.
