Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Databricks & Snowflake Architect to design build and optimize modern cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Databricks Snowflake cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP) data engineering ETL/ELT pipelines data warehousing and big data solutions. The role involves leading end-to-end architecture migration performance optimization and data governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data architectures using Databricks and Snowflake.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured semi-structured and unstructured data.
- Develop modern data lake lakehouse and data warehouse solutions.
- Lead migration projects from legacy data warehouses to Snowflake and Databricks.
- Design data models dimensional models and star/snowflake schemas.
- Implement Delta Lake architecture and optimize data storage.
- Develop scalable data processing pipelines using Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala).
- Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs databases ERP CRM and cloud storage.
- Optimize query performance clustering partitioning and warehouse sizing in Snowflake.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code where applicable.
- Work with DevOps teams for deployment automation.
- Establish data governance security lineage and access controls.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Mentor data engineers and provide architectural guidance.
- Perform performance tuning troubleshooting and production support.

Qualifications

- Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
- Experience with data migration and modernization projects.
- Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.
