Job Summary
8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in enterprise middleware administration.
Strong expertise in ForgeRock IAM.
Preferred Skills
Strong hands-on experience in ForgeRock AM IDM and IG administration.
Good understanding of IAM concepts including authentication authorization federation identity lifecycle management access control and directory integration.
Experience with SSO protocols and standards such as OAuth2 OpenID Connect SAML LDAP and REST APIs.
Knowledge of ForgeRock AM concepts such as realms authentication trees journeys policies agents applications sessions tokens and identity stores.
Knowledge of ForgeRock IDM concepts such as managed objects mappings connectors reconciliation synchronization workflows roles policies and provisioning.
Knowledge of ForgeRock IG concepts such as routes filters handlers reverse proxy request transformation access enforcement and secure application gateway patterns.
Experience integrating ForgeRock with LDAP Active Directory web applications APIs load balancers web servers and reverse proxies.
Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication issues federation errors certificate problems user provisioning failures synchronization errors and access policy failures.
Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates keystores truststores HTTP headers cookies sessions tokens and secure communication flows.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands shell scripting log analysis application server basics and middleware integration.
Experience working in production support environments with ITIL processes such as Incident Problem Change and Request Management.
Good documentation communication stakeholder coordination and operational governance skills.
ForgeRock Access Management (AM):
ForgeRock AM is used for centralized authentication authorization federation Single Sign-On session management and policy enforcement.
Responsibilities include configuring realms authentication trees journeys identity stores OAuth2/OIDC clients SAML federation policies agents and session settings.
AM administrators should be able to troubleshoot login failures SSO issues token problems federation errors policy evaluation failures and integration issues with applications and directories.
ForgeRock Identity Management (IDM):
ForgeRock IDM is used for identity lifecycle management user provisioning reconciliation synchronization workflow automation and integration with target systems.
Responsibilities include managing managed objects mappings connectors sync jobs reconciliation schedules roles policies and provisioning workflows.
IDM administrators should be able to troubleshoot provisioning failures reconciliation mismatches connector issues password synchronization problems and account lifecycle issues.
ForgeRock Identity Gateway (IG):
ForgeRock IG is used as a secure identity gateway and reverse proxy to protect applications APIs and services.
Responsibilities include configuring routes filters handlers request/response transformation authentication enforcement authorization checks and integration with ForgeRock AM.
IG administrators should be able to troubleshoot route failures backend connectivity issues header/cookie problems access enforcement issues certificate errors and application integration failures.
ITIL & Operations
Working knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident Problem Change and Request Management.
Experience in SLA-driven support environments production support and on-call rotations.
Documentation and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) updates.
Troubleshooting & Problem Management
Strong skills in troubleshooting middleware stack issues such as application failures memory leaks thread contention server crashes slow response connectivity and integration problems.
Root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server and WebLogic Server administration deployment troubleshooting and middleware integration.
