What Youll Build

In this role you will play a key part in driving SAPs financial health by managing and improving the collection of trade receivables across a defined customer portfolio. Heres what youll accomplish:

• Reduce DSO and improve cash flowby driving timely invoice settlements from strategic (VIP) customers and partners across the India MU.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationshipsthrough proactive regular engagement predicting payment timelines and resolving disputes before they escalate.
• Solve complex A/R challengesby independently investigating disputes coordinating with internal stakeholders (Sales CFO Commercial Finance Controlling) and driving timely resolutions.
• Contribute to reporting and forecastingby updating collection notes preparing forecasts and participating in AR review calls with senior management.
• Support organizational growthby training new team members engaging third-party collection agencies when necessary and contributing to local regional and global projects.

What You Bring

Essential Technical Skills:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
• Total of 7- 10 years of professional experience
• 57 years of relevant experience in cash collections or a related field
• Solid background in Accounting and Accounts Receivables preferably within a large enterprise

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with SAP internal systems (FICA & FIAR)

Experience & Background:

• Proven ability to engage with senior finance stakeholders including CFOs and commercial finance teams
• Familiarity with Dunning Letters Final Demand Letters and EHF concession and termination processes
• Experience working in an international or cross-functional environment

Soft Skills & Mindset:

• Strong communication skills fluent in both written and spoken English
• Customer-first approach with a quality-focused and results-driven attitude
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
• Highly organized self-motivated and a proactive can-do attitude
