Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Fashion Designer to support the design and development of woven garments. The candidate will assist in creating new styles preparing design concepts and coordinating with merchandising and sampling teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Research fashion trends colours fabrics and market requirements.
- Create garment sketches mood boards and design concepts.
- Develop CAD drawings and technical sheets.
- Assist in fabric trim and accessory selection
- Coordinate with sampling and merchandising teams.
- Follow up on sample development and modifications.
- Maintain design records and style libraries
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of garment construction and woven fabrics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Photoshop CorelDRAW or similar design software.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of textile dyeing and printing processes Strong coordination and follow-up skills Good communication and problem-solving ability Basic computer knowledge (Excel reporting) Attention to detail and quality focus
Required Education:
Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology or related field 15 years of experience in textile processing (preferred)
