Role description: The ETL Specialist is responsible for helping to ensure a stable and well-performing Oracle Reporting and that ETL services meet business demands.

Role accountabilities:

  • Proactively engages with Key Business Users to receive feedback gauge satisfaction with Reporting and ETL services and address issues or concerns.
  • Collaborates with BI team gather business data requirements and prioritize data transformation projects.
  • Collaborates with GSI Domain teams to deliver efficient and well-run processes.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting report discrepancies query optimizations building Oracle BI Publisher extracts for regional projects.
  • Responsible for maintaining Oracle ETL performance and stability.
  • Responsible for application updates patches and security updates on the reporting and ETL application layers.
  • Coordinating major change initiatives coordinating with KBUs on major change initiatives involved reporting and ETLs.
  • Establish tools and metrics to identify areas for improvements performance variances and change impact assessments.
  • Coordinate with release manager the schedule of release activities across environments teams and vendors identifying and resolving conflicts to minimize risk of business disruption.
  • Manages incident and problem response and resolution as well as service request queues to deliver high end-user satisfaction.
  • Oversees and manages 3rd parties providing support for product enhancements upgrades patches and ETL monitoring.
  • Partner with other Towers Lanes and teams to achieve goals and exceed business expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Data Tower and Finance BI team to support data quality across Oracle services and related platforms.
  • Partner with the GSI team to develop and maintain Oracle SOP and KBA.
  • Coordinate Oracle service disruptions announcements and EU communications with the GSI team.
  • Manage release management activities in collaboration with EA teams and Tech CAB.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3 years of experience developing enterprise applications integrations (Oracle Data Integrator) and extensions including extensive experience working with Oracle Analytics and data transformation services.
  • Demonstrated experience designing developing and supporting data integration transformation and reporting solutions that enable effective decision making and business performance.
  • Strong understanding of data extraction transformation and loading principles data modeling and enterprise integration practices with the ability to support complex data ecosystems and reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience planning implementing and supporting cloud application services within multinational multi-vendor environments ensuring successful delivery and operational stability.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud services analytics platforms and enterprise application architectures with the ability to develop solutions that align with business and technology strategies.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets ensuring data quality integrity and consistency across enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to diagnose technical issues optimize data processes and implement effective solutions that improve performance and reliability.
  • Proven track record of delivering service excellence maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and supporting positive user experiences across enterprise platforms and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams including internal technology teams business stakeholders and external vendors to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
  • Experience supporting change release and implementation activities ensuring new solutions and enhancements are delivered effectively and adopted successfully.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within global and matrixed organizations managing multiple priorities and supporting strategic business objectives.
  • Collaborative working style that promotes accountability continuous improvement and operational excellence aligned with the Arcadis Leadership profile of being curious driving success and igniting passion.
  • Degree level education in Information Technology Computer Science Data Engineering Software Engineering or another relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional certifications in Oracle Analytics Oracle Cloud Data Integration ETL technologies or related disciplines are desirable together with experience delivering enterprise solutions within complex global organizations.
