EPQ for Multimarket and KAM- MA projects
Job Summary
Roles & Responsibilities :
The engineer is expected to work as a partner to the engineering team for the development activities for quality topics. He / She Lead Engineering Product Quality (EPQ) for MM and KAM-MA projects. Along with the classical EPQ activities the candidate should have a strong orientation towards digitalizing the workflows developing and configure agents prompt engineering
EPQ activities include
Project Quality Governance
- Demand the planning application tracking and reporting of the preventive quality assurance measures during the product/service lifecycle.
- Moderate QGs
- Conduct QA activities in line with Process landscape
- Provide early warnings on prospective problems on-time escalation effective stakeholder management etc
- Digitalizing the EPQ activities leveraging AI skills
- Lead the QA topics in projects with effective and efficient methodical and process conformal realization.
Project team Coaching
- Prepare PM and project team for the QG / Milestones / Releases / Assessments in advance and plan actions to address the deviations.
- Coach and embed within the project team on processes methods tools standards
- Excellence practices (clean design clean coding technical debt management
- CX implementation)
- Actively contributes to discussions and important engineering decisions.
Value added Quality activities in projects
- Enable project to start right through Boot Camp PIA workshop and/or BES PE assessments
- Identify avoid and escalate risks concerning product/service quality.
- Perform proactive pattern analysis for internal and customer reported defects field claims vulnerability issues and derive preventive actions leveraging data-driven analysis.
- Collaboration in Design FMEAs
- Facilitate lessons learnt / best practices collection and sharing across projects
- Conduct independent content quality review e.g. Architecture design TCD test specifications etc. impact analysis of ECRs Defect fixes etc.
Strategic involvement in projects
- Quality Assurance during acquisition
- Release the preventive quality assurance plan based on your own evaluation of the planned fulfillment of the requirements regarding product/service quality and project targets
- Involve actively in defining and aligning strategies for various engineering activities acting as a Review Partner.
Innovation and continuous improvement
- Value-stream based cycle-time reduction for features predictability & throughput improvement for releases
- Improve data quality and enable data-based decision-making by project teams for better risk mitigation and quality improvement leveraging advanced analytical skills.
- Identify patterns in TRC and MRC and enhance project Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
- Enable project teams to contextualize and tailor process to their business needs.
Qualifications :
Educational qualification:
- B.E/ in Electronics and Communication/ Electrical & Electronics/ Computer Science
Experience :
- 3-5 years hands-on SW development and/or testing experience
- Rich working experience in implementing processes for Software Development
- Ability to evaluate SW Quality characteristics based on key metrics like Cyclometric complexity and guide the team with best practices to address these
- Experience in SW Technical debt management would be advantageous
- Ability to demonstrate usage of AI / GenAI in efficiently performing QA activities
- Experience in SW Quality Assurance activities IATF 16949 internal auditor / CMMi L5
- Experience in Agile practices
- Exposure in Embedded software projects
Mandatory/requires Skills :
- Software Quality Assurance activities
- ISO 9001 CMMi assessment
- Quality methods such as CAR 8D FMEA FAM
- QG moderation
- Prompt Engineering Agentic flows
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills High level of Customer Focus
