Engineering Manager
Job Summary
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Engineering Department.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of electrical plumbing HVAC mechanical and other hotel systems.
- Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Lead guide and train engineering team members.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards statutory requirements and maintenance procedures.
- Monitor energy and water consumption and implement conservation measures.
- Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance requirements and guest-related concerns.
- Manage engineering contractors vendors and service providers.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities equipment servicing and inspections.
- Monitor engineering-related expenses and support effective cost control.
- Assist in renovation refurbishment and new engineering projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and identify potential maintenance issues.
- Ensure proper inventory and availability of engineering tools equipment and spare parts.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure the team follows all safety procedures.
Qualifications :
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Electrical Civil or related Engineering field.
- Relevant experience in hotel engineering or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Good leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of health safety and environmental standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and maintenance-management systems.
