Candidates requirments: -Well versed with Piping & Layout and their relevant codes and standards in Plant Engineering. Preferably in Hydro Power Plant Engineering
-Very good understanding of basic design and detail design of Piping & Layout activities.
-Hands on working knowledge in E3D ACAD tools and Navisworks
-Should be able to independently co-ordinate the all the stake holders to be perform the piping layout within defined schedule and budgeted manhours.
-Knowledge of multi-disciplinary design workflows and understanding of 3D co-ordination process.
-Functional reporting to your Layout COE leader and operationally to the System Integrator
-EHS: - Implementation EHS policy & procedures during design aspect.
-Should have good knowledge of equipment Loads/foundation civil requirements equipment handling requirement.
-Candidate having Basic knowledge of civil structural design (beam/column/slab/steel structure) which will be an added advantage.
-Candidate should have minimum 5 to 8 years experience in Powerplant Layouts. Preferred Hydro Powerplant.
-Academics: B.E. Mechanical engineer /Diploma In mechanical Engineering
Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Expert on E3D & AutoCAD software for various type of hydro power plant networks routing (Piping/HVAC ducting/ Cable and Cable-tray) modelling.
- Generate clash check report & resolve if any interference found using Navisworks.
- Responsible for General arrangement drawings isometrics and BOM for piping & pipe supports in E3D/Revit. Generate Powerhouse Overall Equipment Arrangement Layout drawing in Revit.
- Should review and comment on the customer civil drawings Equipment GA drawings and other consortiums network drawings and streamline the Layout interface and requirements.
- Should proactively interact with other department for various inputs/interface requirement & keep the record. Participate/support in discussion/meetings with customer.

- Strong interpersonal skills and should complement teamwork.
- Should be able to work with more than one projects simultaneously.
