Education

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Engineer 1 to join our data engineering team in a junior development and support capacity. This role involves designing developing supporting and maintaining data integration solutions and ETL pipelines using Informatica Snowflake and related technologies.

The ideal candidate will be eager to learn collaborate closely with senior team members and contribute to stable scalable and reliable data solutions that support business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and support data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IICS)

• Develop and maintain SQL queries Unix/Linux shell scripts and Python scripts for data processing and automation

• Monitor troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines to ensure reliability performance and scalability

• Provide production support including incident resolution post incident analysis and troubleshooting of failed workflows and data quality issues

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions

• Create and maintain technical documentation including mapping specifications workflows and system architecture

• Working with Snowflake for data warehousing data validation and basic performance tuning

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions

Required Skills

• Informatica Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter components (Designer Workflow Manager Repository Manager)

  • Exposure to Informatica Cloud (IICS) is preferred

• Database Skills:

  • Strong SQL skills for data querying validation and analysis

  • Exposure to databases such as Oracle Teradata or MS SQL Server

• Scripting & Automation:

  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting

  • Exposure to Python for basic automation and data processing
