Energy Transition Advisor

Role Summary

As an Energy Transition Advisor you will engage directly in customer conversations to support their sustainability ambitions through Maersks decarbonization solutions. You will contribute to the co-creation of value propositions provide emissions insights and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver commercial sustainability outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with customers supporting decarbonizing their ocean business.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Solution Support

• Engage in customer conversations to understand their sustainability goals and translate them into actionable opportunities.
• Present Maersks sustainability offerings (e.g. ECO Delivery) as part of broader solution discussions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to shape tailored decarbonization proposals.

Sustainability Solution Enablement

• Support the preparation of sustainability materials proposals and business cases aligned with customer needs.
• Guide customers in evaluating emissions reduction options including alternative fuel adoption.
• Ensure clear and accurate articulation of emissions impact and carbon savings associated with Maersks solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with Energy Transition Sales and Product teams to ensure alignment on sustainability messaging and tools.
• Capture customer feedback and insights to inform future solution development and enablement assets.
• Stay up to date on Maersks sustainability strategy decarbonization roadmap and product developments.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Sciences Business Logistics or a related field.
• 24 years of experience in sustainability customer-facing roles or logistics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively in customer discussions.
• Basic understanding of Scope 3 emissions and sustainability frameworks.
• Curious collaborative and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Exposure to decarbonization initiatives is considered an advantage.
