Electrician

We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Electrician in Trichy Tamil Nadu. Our client is seeking skilled motivated professionals with practical electrical installation maintenance testing and troubleshooting capabilities. • Install and maintain electrical wiring fixtures distribution boards switches and related electrical equipment.
  

• Inspect electrical systems and identify faults damaged components loose connections and unsafe conditions.
  

• Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments such as multimeters test lamps and insulation testers.
  

• Repair or replace defective wiring switches fuses electrical fittings and other components as required.
  

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
  

• Read basic electrical drawings circuit diagrams and wiring specifications while carrying out installation work.
  

• Verify continuity insulation earthing and electrical connections before equipment is put into operation.
  

• Follow electrical safety procedures and maintain tools and the work area in safe operating condition.
  

These responsibilities are generated from the Electrician role. Indias Directorate General of Training describes Electrician work as installation maintenance repair testing fault location wiring equipment installation and related electrical work.

1. Electrical Wiring: Ability to install connect inspect and repair electrical wiring safely.
   

2. Electrical Maintenance: Practical knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
   

3. Fault Diagnosis: Ability to identify electrical faults and determine suitable corrective action.
   

4. Electrical Testing: Ability to use appropriate electrical testing instruments and interpret readings.
   

5. Electrical Safety: Understanding of safe isolation earthing protective devices and safe work practices.
   

• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  

• Familiarity with motors switchgear distribution boards and related equipment.
  

• Experience using multimeters insulation testers/megger and other electrical test equipment.
