Position Overview:
This position will be placed at the district level with the District Mission Management Unit (DMMU) of Chhattisgarh and will work under the SPMU addition this position will have to work in close coordination with SPMU DMMU and the selected block staff of the intervention.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The District Resource Person (DRP) will oversee the implementation of the program and assist the Bihan-CGSRLM implementation team at the district level.
The DRP will provide technical support and build the capacity of the district and block implementation team and monitor the progress of the program at the district level.
The DRP jointly with the Bihan-CGSRLM district team will develop a monitoring & review mechanism.
S/he will build the capacity of l community coaches/cadres and the CBOs.
The DRP will conduct pre-and-post training assessments.
The DRP will also assist the thematic experts in the capacity building process of the implementation team.
The DRP will give periodic feedback and assessment reports on the training and capacity building sessions to the thematic leads
The DRP will work in coordination with the district implementation team of Bihan-CGSRLM.
Any other work related to the program as assigned by PMU lead
Academic Qualification:
Masters degree in agriculture public policy Economics Rural Development Environment Climate Change or Sustainability.
Professional Experience: The candidate should have the following of professional experience.
Minimum 4 years of experience in rural livelihoods enterprise promotion skill development or financial inclusion.
Experience managing large-scale livelihood programs at the district or state level.
Knowledge of government livelihood schemes and public-private partnerships in livelihood promotion.
Experience in training and capacity-building of field teams SHGs and community organizations.
Experience in public-private partnerships for sustainable livelihood models.
Ability to engage with government officials NGOs funding agencies and private sector partners.
Knowledge of participatory rural appraisal (PRA) and community-based approaches will be preferred.
