Job Summary
JOB TITLE: District Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Program / Operations
REPORTS TO: Regional Manager / Program Manager
LOCATION: Field Office / District HQ
POSITION OVERVIEW
The District Coordinator leads field-level execution coordinates staff and resources ensures quality program output and liaises with government officials community leaders and partner institutions within the assigned district.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program Planning & Execution: Execute project activities set monthly operational targets and monitor field-level progress against timelines.
- Team Leadership & Supervision: Manage field officers facilitators and local coordinators; conduct performance tracking and field mentorship.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build partnerships with local administration district/block government departments Gram Panchayats and community leaders.
- Data Management & Reporting: Ensure accurate data collection prepare regular status reports track program KPIs and submit monthly documentation.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee district event expenses local logistics training funds and resource allocation within defined budgets.
- Training & Capacity Building: Organize and facilitate workshops training sessions and orientation programs for field staff and community stakeholders.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) Public Administration Development Studies or a related field.
- Experience: 35 years of field experience in project coordination community development or NGO/CSR operations.
- Technical Skills: Data entry & reporting skills (MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint) basic budget tracking and program monitoring tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership public speaking negotiation and local language proficiency.
