DeVops SFCC Architect

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Architect to lead end-to-end commerce architecture solution design integrations and technical governance. The candidate should have strong expertise in SFCC SFRA SiteGenesis OCAPI SCAPI API-first architecture and enterprise commerce integrations.

The role involves defining scalable secure and high-performance commerce solutions while driving modernization initiatives such as Headless Commerce and Composable Commerce. The candidate will provide technical leadership guide distributed development teams and ensure architecture and coding standards are followed.

• Define end-to-end architecture for Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations and enhancements.
• Lead architecture discussions technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Design scalable storefronts APIs integrations and data exchange solutions.
• Provide architecture guidance for SFRA SiteGenesis OCAPI SCAPI and Headless Commerce.
• Design integrations with OMS payment gateways tax shipping fulfilment analytics and customer experience platforms.
• Design and govern multi-site and multi-locale commerce solutions.
• Establish coding standards architecture principles security practices and technical governance.
• Define CI/CD pipelines deployment automation branching strategies and release management processes.
• Manage deployments using Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines and Managed Runtime.
• Implement code quality and security checks using SonarQube or equivalent tools.
• Drive performance optimization scalability reliability and production issue resolution.
• Lead modernization initiatives involving API-first and Composable Commerce architectures.
• Mentor developers and technical leads and collaborate with business product engineering and enterprise architecture teams.
• Maintain architecture documentation solution diagrams and technical standards.

• 10 years of software engineering and commerce platform experience.
• 6 years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience.
• Strong expertise in SFCC architecture storefront development and platform capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with SFRA SiteGenesis OCAPI SCAPI Service Framework and Jobs Framework.
• Experience designing multi-site and multi-locale commerce architectures.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integrations REST APIs Web Services and API-first architecture.
• Experience with payment integrations and enterprise commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of performance scalability security and reliability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design Bitbucket branching strategies deployment automation and release management.
• Experience with Managed Runtime deployments.
• Knowledge of code quality security and governance practices including SonarQube or equivalent tools.
• Experience leading architecture reviews technical design discussions and distributed teams.
• Excellent communication stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
• Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification and Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect Certification.

• Headless Commerce and Composable Commerce implementations.
• Backend for Frontend (BFF) architecture and PWA Kit.
• OMS integrations preferably Sterling OMS.
• Search merchandising analytics and tagging platforms.
• Performance monitoring and observability tools.
• Fraud prevention tax shipping and fulfilment integrations.
• Retail and omnichannel commerce experience.
• AI-enabled commerce personalization search recommendations and customer engagement platforms.
• Experience mentoring and coaching technical teams.
