DevOps Platform Engineer – Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Kubernetes & CICD Support

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support administer and engineer enterprise DevOps tools and platforms. The role requires hands-on experience operating production DevOps services troubleshooting user and platform issues automating operational activities and enhancing CI/CD artifact management source control deployment security and observability DevOps Engineer will support developers build and release teams infrastructure teams security teams and operations teams. The role contributes to business objectives by improving platform reliability developer productivity software delivery speed operational consistency security compliance and self-service capabilities.

Software Requirements

Required Software Skills

• CI/CD platforms: Hands-on experience supporting and engineering tools such as Jenkins Bamboo GitHub Actions GitLab CI/CD Azure DevOps or TeamCity.
• Source control platforms: Experience with Git and platforms such as GitHub Enterprise GitLab Bitbucket or Azure Repos.
• Artifact repositories: Experience with JFrog Artifactory Sonatype Nexus Repository Docker registries or comparable package-management platforms.
• Deployment and release tools: Experience with Argo CD Harness Octopus Deploy or comparable deployment automation platforms.
• Security and quality tools: Experience with tools such as SonarQube Snyk JFrog Xray Black Duck Checkmarx Veracode or Fortify.

Overall Responsibilities

• Administer maintain and support enterprise DevOps tools and platforms.
• Provide day-to-day support for CI/CD pipelines build failures deployment issues repository access plugin issues and tool integrations.
• Troubleshoot build agents runners executors remote agents permissions credentials webhooks API tokens and platform integrations.

Qualifications

• Certification in cloud DevOps Kubernetes GitHub Actions GitLab Terraform or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
