Devops Consultant

Summary: Seeking an experienced IT professional with over 12 years in the industry specializing in cloud migration DevOps and automation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading customer-facing projects architecting cloud solutions (primarily AWS) and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation using modern tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver cloud migration projects including application modernization and infrastructure automation.
• Design and implement highly available secure and cost-optimized cloud architectures (AWS focus).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Automate deployment pipelines and manage CI/CD processes using Jenkins Git and related tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver RPA solutions.
• Manage cloud environments (AWS Azure VMware OpenStack) and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Mentor and guide teams manage project risks and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 12 years of IT experience with at least 9 years in customer-facing roles.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services migration strategies and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible Terraform Jenkins and other DevOps tools.
• Experience with RPA tools (UiPath Automation Anywhere) and scripting (Python Shell).
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation Terraform Associate CKA CKAD.
• Excellent people management risk management and task prioritization skills.

Education:

• Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in Life Sciences Healthcare Financial Technology and Media domains.
• Prior roles in consulting and delivering solutions for large enterprises.
