Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Design/Estimate Engineer in Trichy Tamil Nadu. Our client is a reputed organization seeking skilled and motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
- Prepare cost estimates based on drawings and specifications.
- Develop and review technical drawings using CAD software.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material estimates.
- Coordinate with project procurement and execution teams.
- Analyze project costs and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure estimates comply with project specifications and standards.
- Maintain estimation records and documentation.
- Support tender preparation and quotation activities.
- AutoCAD Prepare and modify engineering drawings.
- Estimation Generate accurate project cost estimates.
- BOQ Preparation Develop detailed quantity take-offs.
- Cost Analysis Evaluate project budgets and pricing.
- MS Excel Prepare estimation sheets and reports.
- Knowledge of ERP software.
- Tender documentation experience.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Typical requirement: 25 years of experience in design estimation or project costing within engineering construction or manufacturing environments.
- Minimum: Typical B.E./ (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or relevant discipline)
- Preferred: M.E./ or relevant certification
- Additional Certifications: AutoCAD Quantity Surveying Estimation (if applicable)
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
