Our client a leading name in the uPVC Windows and Doors industry is looking for a skilled Design & Estimation Costing Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of uPVC systems fabrication drawings and costing methodology and will play a key role in preparing accurate estimates BOQs and design proposals for client projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed design drawings for uPVC windows and doors as per client requirements and site measurements
- Estimate and prepare accurate costing (BOQ) for projects based on design specifications
- Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness
- Coordinate with sales production and procurement teams for material and process costing
- Prepare quotations cost sheets and techno-commercial proposals for clients
- Analyze cost variations and suggest value engineering solutions
- Maintain database of standard costing profiles hardware and glass specifications
- Ensure designs comply with technical and quality standards
- Support pre-sales team with technical inputs during client discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/B.E./ in Civil Mechanical or related Engineering field
- 2 - 5 years of experience in design and estimation preferably in uPVC/Aluminium Windows & Doors industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and estimation/costing software or MS Excel
- Strong understanding of uPVC profiles hardware systems and glass specifications
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural/fabrication drawings
- Strong communication and coordination skills
