Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with strong expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD to support mechanical design drafting and product development activities. The role involves preparing 2D/3D drawings BOMs fabrication layouts and coordinating with production and vendors to ensure accurate execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 2D & 3D mechanical drawings as per project requirements.
Develop GADs fabrication drawings part drawings and assembly drawings.
Prepare and update BOMs and maintain technical documentation.
Support NPD and product development activities.
Coordinate with production/fabrication teams to resolve design-related issues.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding drawings materials and technical requirements.
Review vendor drawings and provide technical clarifications.
Make design modifications based on site production and customer requirements.
Maintain proper revision control of drawings and design documents.
Key Skills:
Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks for 3D modelling and mechanical design.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drafting and detailing.
Ability to prepare GADs fabrication part and assembly drawings.
BOM preparation and revision control.
Understanding of mechanical components sheet metal fabrication and structural layouts.
Knowledge of NPD and design improvement activities.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes tolerances dimensions and material specifications.
Working Conditions:
5 days/week full-time role based in Moraiya Ahmedabad.
Compensation as per industry standards.
